Chicken Marbella

Chicken Marbella, a saucy Mediterranean dish that’s a real crowd pleaser.

The sweet, sour and salty flavours of prunes, olives and capers jazz up Madame Jojo’s corn fed barn-raised chooks in a simple dinner that’s elegant enough to serve at any time.

Spaghetti & Meatballs

Delicious Spaghetti and Meatballs makes the perfect dinner dish for the whole family!

Home made pork & beef meatballs with garlic and oregano, poached in a rich, smooth Italian tomato sauce, served on spaghetti pasta with basil pesto & fresh parmesan.

Lamb Rogan Josh

A classic Persian curry of braised boneless lamb chunks cooked in a rich spicy gravy based on browned onions, yoghurt, garlic, ginger and aromatic spices (cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon). We team it with a sour chickpea curry and steamed basmati rice. An Indian feast!

Chicken Cacciatore

Chicken cacciatore, a very tasty Italian hunter-style chicken braised in a tomato-based sauce with onions, garlic, mushrooms, white wine and fresh herbs.

This Italian mainstay is served with a creamy lemon & rosemary risotto.

Beef Schnitzel

Homemade beef schnitzels are great and we use thinly sliced marinated rump, coated in a rosemary, parsley, fennel and parmesan breadcrumb.

We serve ours with delicious scalloped potatoes, and a creamy market mix mushroom sauce, freshly chopped parsley, Parmesan and peas.

Moroccan Lamb Tagine

This authentic tagine recipe will take you to slow-cooked perfection with every mouthful – just kick back with a glass of wine and know this is as good as it gets!

Lamb Tagine is traditionally a slow cooked medley of aromatic spices, fresh herbs, red wine and tomatoes. Ours is meltingly tender and served with a tasty roast pumpkin, apricot and coriander couscous salad, and a minty yoghurt labne.

Spicy Chicken Schnitzel

Made with Madame Jojo’s secret recipe. Moist chicken thighs encased in a delicious crunchy-spiced crumb, served with a cheesy corn & bacon jacket potato and our tangy coriander & tomato salsa. This dish is the perfect way to end the week with a feel good Friday night treat!

Butter Chicken

You don’t have to travel to find the best butter chicken around. Murgh makhani is the well known and most popular of Indian dishes.

At Madame Jojo’s we use our own authentic spice mix, with coconut cream, chicken stock and whole peeled tomatoes to slowly poach our chicken thighs, when ready to serve we add a blend of aromatics, and a touch of butter to complete the dish.

Pork Belly Schnitzel

When pork belly is on every menu and you need to make it your own. Having already talked about the merits of crumbing, I decided to braise our pork belly in fennel, spices, and milk, then slice and crumb. It melts in all of its juicy porky deliciousness.

We serve ours with a potato gratin, distinguished by way of the potatoes being cooked in chicken stock rather than cream, and a tart apple and red cabbage pickle. It is one of my favourites, and it tastes divine.

Roast Pork

Slow roasting pork loin produces the most tender and succulent meat with a good layer of crispy crackling. Teamed with good old roasties, braised red cabbage, and applesauce and pork gravy. Yum!

Madame Jojo’s ‘Ultimate’ Meatloaf

Nothing says home cooking like a delicious meatloaf. Ours is delicious!

Laced with fresh Italian herbs, olives capers and a few secret things then wrapped in bacon and cooked slowly in a rich tomato sauce with creamy mash on the side. You have come home!

Chicken & Chorizo Paella (GF)

From my time spent in Spain as an AFS student a passion for food was born and my destiny decided. One of my favourite dinners an absolutely delicious mix of saffron, smoked paprika, tomato, rice, chorizo sausage and corn fed chicken thighs. Works beautifully on the reheat.

Chicken Cauliflower Cheese

What else is there to say but a fantastic combo for a cooler evening. Everybody’s favourite cauliflower cheese, delicious half a roast chicken (with our special chicken rub), and slow roasted pumpkin wedges.

Herb & Parmesan Crumbed Fish Fillets

Madame jojo’s version of posh fish and chips served with a creamy scalloped potato, slow roast tomatoes and salsa verde. I always take one home for dinner.

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken Breast

A cornfed chicken breast stuffed with a herbed mascapone cheese, wrapped with streaky bacon and roasted. This is served with a zingy lemon risotto and fresh beans. Light and delicious!

Fish Fillets Cooked with Tomato, Coriander and Ginger

Fresh Fish Fillets cooked together with   tomatoes, coriander, ginger and a touch of chilli.  A fresh tasting light curry served with coconut rice and courgettes. Tasty, light and very healthy. A great “Fish Friday” meal for you!

Roast Chicken with Vegetable Lasagne

This is a new favourite of mine…Roast chicken breast with a homemade pasta autumn vegetable lasagne consisting of layers of pumpkin , potato, silverbeet, tomatoes , aubergine, leeks and a creamy pesto betchmel. yum!

Moroccan Lamb Meatballs with Vegetable Couscous

A new lighter addition to the dinner options. Who doesn’t like meatballs?  Spiced lamb painstakenly rolled into balls and cooked in a tomato, coriander , apricot and saffron sauce then served with a nutty roast vegetable couscous and some harissa to spice things up!

Crispy Roast Pork, Fried Rice, Sauteed Greens and Satay Sauce

Now you don’t need to go to the local chinese…Madame jojo is bringing it to you the way she likes to eat it. Crispy pork belly, fragrant fried rice with ginger chilli and garlic, sauteed greens( cause the’re good for you) and a peanuty satay sauce. There is no local chinese that does this combo!
